Longborough Festival Opera 2025
James was asked by lighting designer Peter Small and Production Manager Ryan Funnell to support the season of opera at Longborough this year. Each show was uniquely different despite being performed in rep therefore the installation was very important to allow a smooth process
Paradise Under the Stars
Continuing our longstanding relationship working with The Lost Estate, it was a pleasure to be involved in creating their newest immersive experience. Set within the heart of Cuba in the 1950's. This immersive installation contains a strong emphasis on multicolour lighting therefore a strong integration of pixel tape and neon flex, pixel cabochons, multiple LED pinspots. And then to track the actors a Zactrack installation, supported by Ambesphere, to ensure that no matter where in the room, any of the performers can be lit

58th Street Country Club
Working to transform a completely empty venue into an 1930's speakeasy, is no easy challenge, especially when the audience are mere inches away from the installation. Working with Lighting Designer Peter Small, White Light, and the Lost Estate, we were able to take a completely abandoned warehouse into a speakeasy fit for a complete with period fixtures and accessories to ensure the audience are completely immersed within the experience
Itch
Working with Jake Wiltshire on Itch at Opera Holland Park, I programmed lighting that included a periodic table. Pixel neon flex was installed around the edge of every element and we spent time ensuring that the use of the neon closely aligned with video design across the wall.
